RV Classes, Workshops, and Seminars
RV Classes
Each year, the University of Idaho Enrichment Program sponsors a "Life on Wheels" RV Conference held in Moscow, Idaho. Started in 1995, the week-long conference now includes extension conferences held throughout the country.
Students enrolling in a "Life on Wheels" Conference select from more than 100 college-style courses designed to make life on the road more enjoyable, trouble-free, and secure. The courses are taught by industry experts, knowledgeable on all aspects of the RV lifestyle as well as on the features and mechanical aspects of RVs.

Welcome to RVing
This 6-hour Saturday class helps you become a prepared and confident RVer. It covers:
- Purchasing, financing, and outfitting RVs
- RV caravans, clubs, and campgrounds
- RV safety, full-timing, and volunteering
- RV winterizing, troubleshooting, and repairs
RV Defensive Driving
This 8-hour Saturday workshop can qualify you for a discount on your auto insurance. It covers:
- Driving laws, courtesies, and safe practices
- Demonstrations of backing up, turning, and lane positioning
- Judging clearance and dimensions of RVs using reference points
- Pre-trip planning, safety, and inspection
