Stay cool during summer at these campgrounds and resorts with on-site water parks, water zones, lazy rivers, and other splashy amenities.

There’s nothing quite like jumping into a cooling body of water on a hot day. RVers often escape the summer heat by looking for campgrounds with great water features, especially lakes, private beaches, and swimming pools.

But beyond the standard pool area, campgrounds and RV resorts are increasingly adding things like inflatable floating structures, spraygrounds, and water zones with interactive features to their list of amenities. Some campgrounds even feature on-site water parks with massive waterslides, helping families cool off while creating wonderful memories.

MARK TWAIN LAKE JELLYSTONE PARK IN MONROE CITY, MISSOURI: This campground is packed with water amenities, including a kiddie pool, a wave pool, a lazy river, and six waterslides.

AUSTIN LAKE RV PARK AND CABINS IN TORONTO, OHIO: This family-owned campground was built along the shores of the 80-acre Austin Lake and offers everything from bumper boats to kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, paddle boats, and inflatable floating climbing structures.

CLAY’S RESORT JELLYSTONE PARK IN NORTH LAWRENCE, OHIO: This park’s numerous water amenities include a 10-acre swimming lake with inflatable floating climbing structures; a 7,500-square-foot water play structure complete with waterslides, kiddie slides, and spray cannons, a splash pad, and several 150-foot-long waterslides. SUN OUTDOORS FRONTIER TOWN IN BERLIN, MARYLAND: This park has numerous water features, including a resort-style swimming pool and a water park with five waterslides and interactive spray features. There’s also a splash pad with mini geysers, water cannons, and a lazy river. The resort borders Sinepuxent Bay where jet skis and pontoon boats are available for rent.

JELLYSTONE PARK CAMP-RESORT IN GLEN ELLIS, NEW HAMPSHIRE: This campground has a water zone with slides, water blasters,water cannons, and a hydrostorm bucket that dumps water on anyone standing beneath it. There’s also a 6,000-square-foot activity pool. Additional water activities include tubing down the Saco River, which flows alongside the park.

JELLYSTONE PARK LAZY RIVER IN GARDINER, NEW YORK: This water activity-focused park features swimming pools, a lazy river, and a 40,000-square-foot water zone with two 100-foot-long waterslides, kiddie slides, a fort, a water cannon, and more.

JELLYSTONE PARK CAMP-RESORT IN MILL RUN, PENNSYLVANIA: Water amenities at this campground include a swimming pool with interactive water features, two 175-foot-long waterslides, and a Water Wars game.

OCEAN LAKES FAMILY CAMPGROUND IN MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA: This beachfront campground, located next to the Atlantic Ocean, has its own set of water attractions, including an Olympic-sized swimming pool with two kiddie pools. The on-site Sandy Harbor Water Park features a lazy river, a play structure with waterslides, and a tad pool for little kids. 

SUN OUTDOORS MYRTLE BEACH IN CONWAY, SOUTH CAROLINA: Water features at this resort include a water park with large waterslides, a splash pad, a heated lazy river, and more. 

NASHVILLE SHORES LAKESIDE RESORT IN HERMITAGE, TENNESSEE: This RV resort is home to a large water park that features a five-story racing slide, 10 waterslides, a massive wave pool, and a water treehouse and playground. The park also has a lazy river and a beach. The campground has 88 RV sites.

KEYSTONE LAKE JELLYSTONE PARK IN MANNFORD, OKLAHOMA: This park has one of the largest Wibit floating obstacle courses in Oklahoma. There’s also a separate water zone with interactive features.

CAMP FIMFO IN NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS: Water amenities at this campground include swimming pools, tube slides, and a splash playground with waterslides, kiddie slides, and a hydrostorm bucket. This park also offers spa tubs, a swim-up bar, and access to the Guadalupe River, which is popular with tubing enthusiasts. 

CAMP FIMFO IN WACO, TEXAS: This campground features a swimming pool, spa tubs, and a waterzone with interactive play features and waterslides. 

EL CAMPO LOST LAGOON RV RESORT IN CAMPO, TEXASWater amenities at this campground include a 700,000-gallon pool with a 21-foot waterslide, a rope swing, waterfalls, a lazy river, and a swim-up bar. JELLYSTONE PARK TOWER PARK IN LODI, CALIFORNIA: This campground, which is located along the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, has a 40,000-square-foot water play zone with waterslides, water blasters, water cannons, a 750-gallon hydrostorm bucket, and a lazy river. The park also rents SUPs, kayaks, and fishing boats for use in the Delta.

NEWPORT DUNES WATERFRONT RESORT & MARINA IN NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA: This RV resort has its own aqua park with inflatable floating climbing structures. Watercraft rentals are also available, including pedal boats, kayaks, and SUPs.
