Will and Britta Brown's Story

Living the Dream: How Will and Britta Brown Embrace Freedom and Adventure in Their RV

Will and Britta Brown inspire others to embrace RV living with their spontaneous adventures, flavorful campsite meals, and a mission to break barriers on the open road.

Capturing the Best Selfies

As a kid, I said that when I retired, I was going to buy an RV and travel the country. And then I finally realized, why do I need to wait until I’m older? How often do you get to live out your life dreams while you’re still young?

For Will and Britta Brown, life is all about seizing the moment and making memories on the open road. Known on social media as Brown's Dope Little Adventures, this couple has embraced RV living to chase their dreams and inspire others to step outside their comfort zones. With their travel trailer in tow and a love for spontaneity, Will and Britta are redefining what it means to live adventurously.

Chasing Dreams, Not Waiting for Them

“If you died tomorrow, what would you wish you had done?” Britta asks, posing the question that drives their lifestyle. “If you still have a lot of answers to that, then you’ve got some life to live.” For the Browns, RVing has become a way to live out their dreams now, not later.

Will recalls a childhood promise: “I said when I retired, I was gonna buy an RV and travel the country. Then I realized, why do I need to wait until I’m older?” Their decision to embrace RV life reflects their commitment to making the most of every moment. “How often do you get to live out your life dreams while you’re still young? RVing is making that possible,” he says.

Different Styles, Shared Adventures

While Will loves the freedom of the open road, rolling down the windows and feeling the wind, Britta finds joy in exploring the unique stops along the way. “I kind of like to drive a long time,” Will admits, while Britta adds, “He would rather drive, and I’d rather explore stores, restaurants, even little shops on the road.” Despite their differences, their shared spontaneity keeps their travels exciting. “It’s probably what I love about him most,” Britta says with a smile.

Bringing Flavor to the Campsite

The Browns’ trailer is a hub for good food and great company. “It’s easy to tell where our trailer is parked because you’re gonna smell good food coming from it,” Will says. Will, the “best chef ever” according to Britta, ensures that every meal is an event. Whether they’re glamping with string lights and cozy chairs or sharing a meal with friends, their campsite radiates warmth and style.

Breaking Barriers and Inspiring Others

Britta’s journey into RVing is a testament to the power of stepping outside your comfort zone. “Honestly, I never thought that as an African-American woman I would even go RVing,” she shares. “I’m a city girl from Baltimore. But when you step out of your comfort zone, I think that’s where you find the most fun.”

Now, Britta is passionate about encouraging other African-American families to try RVing. “I want African-American families to know that this lifestyle is for us too,” she says. “Get out there and give it a try," Will adds. "Just do it.”

Freedom on the Open Road

For Will and Britta, RVing is more than a mode of travel—it’s a lifestyle that embodies freedom, exploration, and joy. “It’s just open road and beautiful skies,” Will reflects.

Their adventures showcase the beauty of living in the moment, embracing spontaneity, and creating a life filled with meaningful experiences. “When I’m behind the wheel, there’s just a sense of freedom,” Will says. And that freedom, paired with their shared sense of adventure, is what makes every mile unforgettable.
