What is Seasonal Camping?

Seasonal Campers leave their RV or Park Model RV on one campsite for an extended period of time. Park model RVs are large, fully outfitted, cottage-style trailers designed for long-term placement at a campsite or other RV destinations. Park models provide enhanced amenities such as residential kitchens, washer/dryer, full bathrooms, master suites, front porches, and sleeping lofts for the kids. While designed to look like a home, park models are designed for short-term seasonal use and require a connection to site electricity, sewer, and water.

For some, it’s a convenient weekend retreat. For others, it’s a seasonal getaway or yearly vacation tradition. But however you seasonally camp, it’s a great way to savor your favorite destination.

Park Model RVs

Park model RVs, used for seasonal camping, are recognizable by their similarity in design to a home. These RVs are built on wheels so that they can be moved easily from campground to campground or around a campsite and they need to be hooked up to site electricity, sewer and water as with any RV.
