Cake
Ingredients
- 2 c sugar
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 c nuts (walnuts or other)
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
Directions
Combine dry ingredients. Add remaining ingredients and mix by hand. Bake in a 9x13 prepared pan at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Do not overbake.
Frosting
Ingredients
- 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese - softened
- 1 3/4 c powdered sugar
- 1/4 c butter or margarine
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 c nuts (walnuts or other)
- 2 tsp vanilla
Directions
For frosting, mix all ingredients well and spread on cake.
