Looking for a new destination? Check out these campgrounds on your next RV adventure!

New campgrounds and RV parks continue to open across the country, particularly in Florida, which has led the country in new park development for several years, according to the Florida RV Park & Campground Association.

Several parks across the country have also added RV sites — or plan to do so — in response to rising consumer demand.

Here’s a sampling of new and expanding campgrounds and RV resorts across the country:

  • Great Escapes RV Resort in Leesburg: This park expanded by 11.5 acres in 2024, and added 70 new RV sites and a new resort-style swimming pool.

  • Paradise Found RV Resort in Theodore:  This new 246-site RV resort hopes to open in March and will feature both RV site rentals as well as RV lots for sale. Park amenities, opening in phases, will include pickleball, sand volleyball and basketball courts as well as a fitness center and game/rec room, among other amenities. Future amenities also include a marina with boat slips and a restaurant.
