- 1 box gingerbread mix
- 12-16 oz. can or jar of applesauce
- 6 average or 2 large clean metal food cans
- Aluminum foil
- Hot fire pit coals
Grease the sides of the cans. Open the apple sauce and evenly distribute between the cans.
Follow the package instructions to mix the gingerbread. Distribute batter evenly amongst the cans. Cover the tops with foil and place in stirred, even coals. After 15 minutes, check to see that gingerbread is raised and steamy. Serve and enjoy!
