1 Tablespoon of butter, melted
1 cup of milk
1 medium/large apple grated
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon or pumpkin spice
1 tablespoon white sugar
In a large bowl, combine butter, egg, milk and grated apple. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon/pumpkin spice and sugar. Stir flour and apple mixture together. Batter can be lumpy.
We recommend mixing all of the dry ingredients together and keeping them in a jar. Once you’re ready to make the pancakes, add dry ingredients to the freshly mixed apple mixture.
Use 1/4 measuring cup to scoop out pancake mixture on the stovetop or griddle.
