Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 Granny Smith apple OR crisp pear cut in bite-sized slices
  • 4 handfuls of romaine lettuce, washed and dried, cut into pieces
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/3 cup toasted pecans

Directions

In a salad bowl, combine oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and apple/pear. Toss in lettuce. Top with cheese and nuts
